This registration INCLUDES a copy of the K-4 Elementary GLOBE Teachers Guide AND five complementary story books to use with the program.  Participants will learn about the NASA GLOBE program.  They will receive an overview of the GLOBE program and its five area protocols followed by training in ELEMENTARY GLOBE K-4 Earth as a system science unit addressing:  Seasons, Water, Soil, Clouds and Earth as a system.  Specific training in the Atmosphere “Clouds” protocol is included.  This inquiry based, hands-on instruction will teach how to:

1. Navigate the GLOBE Website.
2. Develop skills to perform and instruct the collection of data in line with the NASA GLOBE Program Clouds protocol.
3. Use the developed skills to facilitate student learning about Earth as a System in their classrooms and schools.
