Family Fishing Program
July 4, 2016 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm UTC+0
Do you have what it takes to be a S.M.A.R.T. angler? This introductory program includes hands-on fishing instruction and is geared toward ages 8 and up. You’ll learn basic fishing skills including casting, baiting a hook, knot tying and how to take a fish off of a hook. You’re welcome to bring your own poles but equipment and bait will be provided and fishing licenses are not required for the duration of the program. Please note that this program is only open to families that have not attended a Family Fishing Program in the past. Registration is required. Visit the DCNR website, search for Jacobsburg Environmental Education Center, and then choose your event and click “Register.”
