Immersion in Nature

You can improve your heart health, reduce your risk of cancer, and gain a better overall sense of well-being by spending time in nature. Shinrin-yoku (or forest bathing) is a traditional Japanese practice of immersing oneself in nature using all 5 senses.
Dr. Matt Silvis (friend of the Conservancy and professor at Penn State College of Medicine) will discuss the benefits of spending time in nature and will provide tips on how to do so.
