Sponsored by the Conococheague Audubon Society, participants on this trip through a mixture of woodlands and fields typically find early spring migrants and local resident species.  Leave from Buchanan’s birthplace in Cove Gap. Please phone one of the leaders in advance and plan to arrive at the meeting place 15 minutes prior to departure time.

Wear sturdy, close-toed hiking shoes, preferably with ankle support.  Hike may include uneven or rocky surfaces.  Dress for the weather, but long pants and layers are recommended.

What to Bring: water, sunscreen, insect repellent, hat, scopes, binoculars, CBs, lunch, snacks
