Multi-County Grants

- Grant is due in early February
- FEMA Hazard Mitigation Assistance Grants
- In 2025 there is a Flood Mitigation Assistance grant program and a Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities (BRIC) grant program.

- ATV and Snowmobile Grants
- DCNR offers two grant rounds annually for ATV and snowmobile projects
- Spring: Always opens first business day in February and closes the last business day in March.
- Fall: Always opens first business day in August and closes the last business day in September.

- RISE PA (Reducing Industrial Sector Emissions in Pennsylvania)
- Eligible projects must reduce industrial sector emissions through industrial electrification, efficiency, and process emissions reductions, switching to low-carbon fuels, installing on-site renewable energy, utilizing carbon capture and storage, and reducing fugitive emissions from natural gas and oil systems and coal mining.

- NFWF Chesapeake Small Watershed Grants Program
- Grants for projects within the Chesapeake Bay watershed that promote voluntary, community-based efforts to protect and restore the diverse and vital habitats of the Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries

- Healing the Planet Grant Program
- Eligible projects must be located in areas where The Giant Company, locally known as Giant and Martin’s, operates stores within Pennsylvania.
- Due in July
- Previous rounds have supported native tree plantings, food waste prevention, improving the health and quality of waterways, and supporting community green spaces
- Open Space Institute Appalachian Landscapes Project Grants
- OSI provides grants that support the strategic use of land protection to address climate change and water quality in select geographies in the eastern U.S. (The KRCL is part of this region)

- Grants due at the end of January
Cumberland County Grants
- Land Partnership Grants
- The Land Partnerships Grant Program provides financial assistance to municipalities and non-profit organizations for the purpose of agriculture preservation, natural resource protection, creation of parks, trails & greenways and planning and ordinance assistance projects.
