Manada Receives DCNR Funding For 50-acre Property

The Manada Conservancy received good news from the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources:  Manada’s application to purchase a 50-acre property along the Kittatinny Ridge was awarded!  Conservancy staff will be moving forward with the landowner to complete the project. The property, which extends up to the ridge top, is in Lower Paxton Township and will have public access.  Many thanks to Manada staff, volunteers, and DCNR.  The purchase will advance the efforts of partners across the Kittatinny Ridge to conserve this 185-mile Global Important Bird area and migration corridor.
